Premium class discreetly armored SUVs based on Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 W463 in CEN B6, 2022 YP

VPS accept  an orders for the various premium class discreetly armored SUVs based on Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 W463 in CEN B6 according to European standards DIN EN1063 and 1522/1523.

Ballistic specification – CEN B6 level protection:

The used materials grand safety against attack with handgun level CEN B6.

This means safety against rifle up to calibre 7.62 x 51 (SC).The floor of the car is armoured optional against attack of up to 2 handgrenades DM51.

Following components are secured:

-  windows security glass all around              

- roof with armored plate      

- front doors with armored plate    

- backdoors with armored plate    

- site walls right and left in boot with armured plate  

- A-B-C-columns with steel  

Following security items are included::

- Rodgard Run-flat tires 4-fold

- Multi layer glass with polycarbonate

- Reinforced shock absorbers front and rear axle

- Reinforced springs front and rear axle

Additional equipment:

- Heatable windscreen - as per request

- Heatable rear window - as per request

- Intercom system for two-way communication  

- Dark tinted glass        

- Operable windows in front left approx. 200 mm            

- Operable windows in front right approx.200 mm            

- PAS

- Alarm siren        

- Flashing traffic light      

- Mechanical curtains in the back (5-fold )  

- Further items i. e. TV, DVD etc. on request

The safety cage, which is constructed into the car during conversion, is made exclusively out of certified material. The additional weight of the car is approx.  1000 kg ( VR7 level ). The armouring is integrated into the car in a way that all standard safety features (airbags, seatbelt-tightener etc.) remain in 100% function.

Armoured vehicles grand far-reaching protection against specified attacks. Total protection is not possible, for reasons of firearms and explosive technology as well as car construction.

We also offer body extension +400-620mm for Escort-Bodyguard version and VIP version including a dividing wall and multimedia ar availbale in combination with a protection package on request.
