VPS offers the business class discreetly armored LHD/RHD Toyota Land Cruiser 300 3.5/3.3L Twin-Turbo V6 Petrol/Diesel GX.R/VX.R EURO5/EURO6 emissions in european specifications 2025-2026 YP in VPAM VR7 and VR9 fully certied according to European directives VPAM BRV2009, Edition 3 (Ballistic Resistant Vehicles) and with multiple blast certifications according to  European directive VPAM ERV 2010, Edition 3 (Blast Resistant Vehicles) .

TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 300:

TALOS special protection vehicle is the preferred choice of governments, embassies, aid organisations and special operations teams worldwide. Visually identical to a standard Toyota Land Cruiser, the armoured vehicle offers a superior level of ballistic protection. Needless to say, it is certified by the German (firearms) proof house in accordance with current VPAM (*Association of test laboratories for bullet-resistant materials and constructions) guidelines, BRV Edition 3 and ERV Edition 3. The TALOS is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The vehicle is available in VR7 and VR9 protection classes.

Our armored vehicles are certified, among others, in compliance with VPAM ERV Edition 3 and STANAG 4569 AEP-55 Vol. 2. The testing procedures include the blasting of different types of hand grenades (DM51, HG85) on the vehicle roof and under the vehicle. In compliance with STANAG 4569 AEP-55 Vol. 2 we also test protection against land mines of type AP DM31 and similar, and against 6-kg land mines. On request, we simulate the effects of a TNT or PETN car bomb blasting on the lateral sides of a vehicle. All tests are performed by state-approved proof houses (Beschussamt) or IABG, a German analysis and testing company.

To ensure that a special protection vehicle offers reliable safety even in extreme situations, the person driving it must be able to control it effectively. We therefore specially adapt the chassis of the TALOS to the increased vehicle weight: Our engineers have completely redesigned the chassis to meet the increased load of an armoured vehicle. Reinforced springs and shock absorbers contribute to increased driving safety and comfort, and the brake components have been replaced by higher performance alternatives.
