Armored multi-purpose pickup - AMPP "GUNNER" 4x4 based on Ford F550 SD Regular chassis cab 4x4 XL in CEN B6, 2023 YP

VPS offers all-new armored multi-purpose pickup AMPP “Gunner” based on the “Guardian” Armored Personnel Carrier using the Ford F550 Super Duty® Regular chassis cab 4x4 XL in CEN B6 in accordance to DIN EN 1063. This AMPP "GUNNER" could be offered in CEN B7 also!.

The basis for the armored multi-purpose pickup AMPP «GUNNER» is an armored personnel carrier «GUARDIAN», developed by the manufacturer in 2012. 

In total, 200 units of this vehicle have been produced to date in various modifications and kits . 

The «GUARDIAN» is an armored personnel carrier, multi-purpose , designed to perform a variety of combat and tactical problems etc. To commands rapid response and armed police forces and the army . The «GUARDIAN» Is successfully used by various military units in real combat conditions in the Middle East and is supplied to various countries in Asia and Africa, including UN units for peacekeepers around the world.

Designed with armoring system , applied to the «GUARDIAN» protects the entire cabin of the car from the ammunition and IEDs weapon small fragments. The engine compartment and the fuel tank and armored to prevent the loss of full operational capability aw t o of the ammunition destruction of small arms and improvised explosive devices.

High payload wheels and a set of tires have a built-in puncture and side lock protection system that prevents the tires from being disconnected from the rims and also allows the car to continue driving in different terrain conditions in the event of a tire puncture.

Each seat is equipped with a seat belt for proper protection for the occupant. 

The armored multi-purpose pickup «GUNNER» can also be equipped with a wide variety of options and equipment to suit specific operational goals. 

ATTENTION: Full protection of an armored vehicle is impossible due to the constant development of high technologies for the production of firearms, ammunition for them, improvised and standard explosive devices and delivery means - UAVs, as well as the design features of the base vehicle!
